Charming wine village of Haut-Rhin, located at the entrance to the Kaysersberg Valley, very popular with visitors and located on the Alsace Wine Route. Ammerschwihr enjoys an excellent micro climate, and has a hill that produces a Grand Cru, the famous Kaefferkopf.

The village set in the middle of vineyards, has its typical Alsatian character with its half-timbered houses, its large houses of post-war reconstructed winemakers with typical porches, and its historical monuments recalling the beauty of the pre-war village. The remarkable monuments are legion with, among others, the Church of St. Martin, the Tower of Bourgeois dating from 1535, the High Gate of Storks or still the Rascals' Tower. On the heights, we find the site of Trois-Epis, near which is also the "Golf Resort Ammerschwihr Trois-Épis"
