Vine binding time...
The transition from February to March is done with sunny weather! ☀️
This fine weather stimulated the vines and caused the sap to rise in the branches, forming drops at their ends.
These tears are the first visible sign of the awakening of the vine 🍀!
The end of February is accompanied by the end of Vine Pruning and the start of Binding!
During pruning, we chose the fruit-bearing vine shoots (wood). It is now necessary
attach them to the trellising wires.
The vine is a liana, so it is important to tame it in order to limit excess vegetation,
and a drop in the quality of the grapes. 🍇
Binding aims to aerate the vine and optimize its exposure to the sun.
